SHITOUKAN decoded the "KATA OF NAIFANNCHI", which has been a mystery throughout its history, by using the Wago Kokubujutsu Tegoi's technical principles. I propose that the practical continuous "Bunkai of the Naifanchi" is possible by applying the "KUMI-UCHI" technique, which consists of "throwing", "joint manipulation" and "locking techniques" instead of conventional "blocking" and "striking" techniques. By returning to the Kata with this notion, the "Naifanchi" seems to reply to us with the various implied method of "Olden-day Martial Art".

What is SHITOUKAN:

SHITOUKAN “志統館” is founding Dojo for WAGO KOBUJUTSU, which has originated from LAND of ALOHA WORLD PEACE PROJECT through BUDO YUDANSHA KAI, a Black belt association.

What is WAGOU KOBUJYUTSU :

WAGOU KOBUJUTSU has unified traditional martial arts with grand masters, to restore the original comprehensive method. The origin concept puts focus on the lost art of KUMIUCHI（grapple strike）from Atemi (striking) dynamic, namely ATEMI KUMIUCHI, which is consisted with all in one correlated technique of simultaneous strike, throw, joint manipulation and locks.

　ancient forms.

・“WAGOU”( harmonizing)"KOBUJUTSU"(ANCIENT MARTIAL ARTS) made possible what currently exist

　as separated technique in different Martial Art, rebirth into being ONE ANCIENT WAY .

・This method was formed for the purpose of pursuing the "coexistence of physical functionality and 　　　

　spirituality as one".

・We believe that “back to the origin” is the way to evolve martial art, to function from coexisting physical

　and spiritual foundation.

・Restoring the optimal function of the art leads to Bushido Spirit that will open path to achieving World

What is SHITOUKAN ?

It is a Martial Art which was successfully formed by Dr. Cimone Kamei by unifying traditional martial arts such as Karate, Aikido, Jyuujutsu and Taijutsu of Japan with amazing influence of Native Hawaiian martial art, "LUA".

Shitoukan Art is a martial art which is practiced with limitless form of respect to embrace spirituality that extends to Bushido spirit.

The Origin of Japanese Martial art goes back to the mythical age. First original martial art is recorded as TEGOI “手乞” on the oldest written record of KOJIKI, which was used in KUNI-YUZURI episode, by TAKEMIKAZUCHI-NO-KAMI, a god of sword and thunder.

Since Japanese martial art originated from TEGOI linked to divine being as its ancestry, its core essence is to manifest the positive spirit in to the mechanics and ki (energy) of waza (technique) by tapping consciousness into the higher power to generate optimal effect.

That is why martial art is practiced with limitless form of respect to embrace spirituality that extends to Bushido spirit.

To pay respect to the origin of art as we aspire towards that state, and for the guidance from the higher powers, Shitoukan's goal is to achieve the state of TEGOI.

What is WAGOU KOBUJYUTSU ?

WAGOU KOBUJUTSU literally meaning “Harmonized Ancient Martial Art” or WAZA in short, it is a Atemi Kumiuchi, a lost technique of the comprehensive martial art with block, strike, throw, joint manipulation and lock in simultaneous dynamic.

SHITOUKAN “志統館” is the founding Doujou for
"WAGOU KOBUJUTSU ",
which has originated through BUDOU YUDANSHAKAI, the Black belt association from Land of Aloha World Peace project.

Shitoukan’s Philosophy

Dr. Cimone Kamei started Karate at 3 years old and has continually developed his art for over 40 plus years. SHITOUKAN was originated to unite the traditional martial arts to aspire toward restoring original ancient forms. By harmonizing “WAGO” , what currently exist as separated technique in different art back to one ancient ways as WAGO KOBUJUTSU. Doujou was formed for the purpose of restoration of martial art to pursuit the coexistence of physical functionality and spirituality as one.

We believe that “back to the origin” is the way to evolve martial art, to function from coexisting physical and spiritual foundation. Restoring the optimal function of the art leads to positive spirit that will open path to achieving World Peace for the 21st century.
